ADT by Telus provides user interfaces for monitoring and controlling security systems.  This document sets forth the Terms and Conditions under which you may use the services included in this web site.  Please read this page carefully.  By accessing, browsing or using the services or downloading any content from the services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.  We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating this posting.  You should visit this page periodically to review the Terms and Conditions because they are binding on you.  If you violate any of these Terms and Conditions, your permission to use the service automatically terminates.

Object

ADT by Telus grants you remote access to the ADT by Telus network in order to remotely consult certain customer files and in order to, when applicable, promptly and remotely update, complete, modify or correct certain customer information.

Exactness and completeness of information

You are entirely responsible for the completeness and the exactness of information that you supply to ADT by Telus and of the information that you ask ADT by Telus to update, add to, modify or correct on the network.

Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement

You recognize that all the information found on the web site/network including, but without limiting the generality of the foregoing, information about the carrying out of services rendered by ADT by Telus under the terms of the surveillance contracts concluded with customers, as well as information about the programming of the network, are of a confidential nature and are the exclusive property of ADT by Telus (Confidential Information).  Therefore, you agree not to divulge to any other party, and in any form whatsoever, Confidential Information without the prior written consent of ADT by Telus.

You agree to ensure the confidential nature of the Confidential Information to which you have access and to not use this Confidential Information for any other purposes.

Only members of your staff whose work functions require it shall have access to the network and to the Confidential Information. You agree to apply and to make known to the above-mentioned members of your staff all additional security measures that are deemed necessary to ensure the confidential nature of the Confidential Information.

You agree to take all necessary measures so that unauthorized persons cannot gain access to the network and/or the Confidential Information.

You agree to immediately notify ADT by Telus of any breach of the security measures and of all events that may compromise the confidential nature of the Confidential Information upon becoming aware of it.

You recognize that personal information about the customers is subject to certain statutory rights governing access to and protection of personal information.  You agree specifically, and without limiting the extent of this agreement, to respect statutory requirements and to take all necessary measures so that such requirements are respected by employees.
